The temperatures reached the nineties today and the kiddos begged to have their second water fight of the season. The fever spread to our neighbors and before you knew it we were having crossborder exchanges.
Our #1 headed off to outdoor school today with his 6th grade classmates--3 overnights on the Central Oregon Coast. There was alot of excitement in the air which added swirls in the smoke from all the control burns that go on here in the forest in the Spring.
My parents celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary back in NNY. My brother, his wife of a year and I flew out from our separate West Coast locales to join our other siblings for a family get together at the house in B.R. We had a great dinner together in M and D's favorite Italian restaurant and then went back to the house for cake and coffee.
